Welcome to Zonta Club of Long Island, a proud member of Zonta International, a global organization of professionals empowering women through service and advocacy.
Since 2011, our Long Island club has united community leaders, advocates, and volunteers to promote gender equality, education, and humanitarian action in Nassau County and beyond.
Together, we envision a world in which every woman and girl has access to education, healthcare, and opportunity.
Zonta Club of Long Island Inc works to:
- Advance the status of women and girls through education, advocacy, and leadership development.
- Support survivors of violence, empower economic independence, and promote equality.
- Collaborate locally and globally with other Zonta clubs and partners to amplify women’s voices.
- Inspire volunteerism and mentorship, building bridges across communities.
Our mission aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 5 — Gender Equality.
- Annual Membership Luncheon – Celebrating Women Leaders in Long Island.
- Zonta Says NO Rally – Raising awareness to end gender-based violence.
- Holiday Giving Campaign – Collecting gifts and essentials for women and children in need.
- International Women’s Day Seminar – Panel discussions with local advocates and professionals.
